The Out-of-Body Travel Foundation Hymnal

The Out-of-Body Travel Foundation Hymnal: From 'The Mysteries of the Redemption: A Treatise on Out-of-Body Travel and Mysticism', By Marilynn Hughes - Marilynn Hughes describes the extraordinary music she encountered during her out-of-body travels. Throughout these experiences, she heard music within the spiritual realms—music that was not composed in the ordinary sense, but encountered as part of her journeys beyond the physical body. She began writing this music down, preserving the melodies and musical impressions as they came to her.
This hymnal contains 109 original pieces of music that Marilynn Hughes heard during her out-of-body experiences and subsequently transcribed. Each piece represents a musical encounter from the spiritual dimensions she explored, preserving in written form music experienced beyond ordinary physical perception. Together, these works offer an unusual record of the relationship between mystical experience and music, documenting sounds and melodies encountered during journeys into the spiritual realms.
The music contained here grew out of the experiences described throughout The Mysteries of the Redemption, where out-of-body travel becomes a means of exploring consciousness, spiritual realities, sacred realms, and the continuing journey of the soul. The hymnal preserves the musical dimension of those experiences, bringing together 109 pieces that were heard and recorded in written form over the course of this extraordinary body of work.
Later, these pieces were fully recorded, produced, and developed into a five-volume CD collection, The Mystical Scriptorium: Sacred Sound Journeys, which is also available. The recordings bring the music heard during these experiences into a contemporary listening experience while the hymnal preserves the original musical works in written form.
